LROM OFF ROAD CLINIC PART II

LROM off road clinic- June 7 &8 th , was a hit as the responds of vehicle wins over any local competition events on attendance. The support given by club attendance will encourage more trips to look forward to.

14 vehicles attended plus 1 uninformed PAC 8 who came at night and out the same night . This is wrong to be driving in alone without informing as anything can happen. After clinic 4 cars had to return the same day with some LROM friends the rest remained to continue with the supposed next day short courses.

The Off clinic we have the 3 Founders Yamin, Vicky, Rate and club President Edward together they conduct the clinic despite of the heavy downpour although certain clinic have to be cancel. After the day convoy left the rain continue until the next day. Looking at the continues rain Rate decided to cancel the short courses to bring all the convoy out as soon as possible before the track become worse. Not wanting to take the risk we pack and go out with a short briefing by Vicky on procedure of convoy lead by Edward.

Looking at some cars with AT tyres and some inexperience drivers Rate with ATV guide the cars on downhill descend. The track was slippery and lots of downhill, at one point a Discovery was park at a dangerous spot for what reason we don't know. We thought of pulling the car to a safe place but the owner said is ok to leave it there. It was a good experience for new members as they said they won't have a chance of this kind before. Is a disappointment for some but i guess the most disappointed person would be Rate who have done all the preparation even a bridge was build for bridge simulation and flying fox. So certificate and prizes will NOT be given out due to Mother Nature situation so Off Road Clinic Part II to be continued.
